Which iPhone should I buy 2020 | Which Apple phone is the best?

Read more at –
The Apple iPhone has gone from strength to strength in its 13 year existence. And In 2019 we got the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, all of which Apple sells on their official store next to the older iPhone XR and the brand new iPhone SE.

And with other retailers still selling older iPhones too, buying an iPhone can be a confusing experience despite their extreme popularity. Additionally, for the first time in a while, the best iPhone in our opinion is not the most expensive. relatively

I’m Matt Phillips for TechRadar and let’s figure out which iPhone is right for you…

Our first pick is the iPhone 11.

Sure it isn’t the highest-spec Apple phone, but it supersedes the iPhone XR ‘budget flagship’ in better ways to become the standout phone of its generation in terms of sheer value.

True, it misses out on a telephoto lens, but we found, a coupling of main and ultrawide lenses serve most photo needs. While it doesn’t get an OLED display, its LCD screen at least allows the phone to keep its best-in-generation battery life crown. And it even gets a bit more RAM – up to 4GB from its 3GB predecessor.

If you’re looking to get bang for your buck and not break the bank, this might be the iPhone for you.

Next up we’ve got the iPhone 11 Pro.

For all you ‘money is no issue’ users out there you can’t get better than the 11 Pro. With it’s one-hand-friendly screen, incredible display, and fantastic 3 rear cameras the 11 Pro is happy to go toe to toe with any other major flagship on the market.

But money is a concern for most people when they’re looking for a new smartphone, and the big price step up may be questionable for most people when you put the stats side-by-side with the iPhone 11.

Next up we’ll take a look at the big brother, the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The iPhone 11 Pro Max is not only a confusing shift in naming convention – it’s the biggest, fastest, baddest iPhone out there. It’s also the most expensive at $1,099 starting price, which only goes up if you expand storage.

Not much has changed from the iPhone XS Max, aside from the upgraded camera suite – but then again, adding an ultrawide lens is a big upgrade.

The battery has been improved by a staggering 4 hours over the iPhone XS Max And if you can get beyond the truly weird-looking triple-lens rear camera block, this is truly the most powerful iPhone out there.

So if your hand can stretch for it and you’re looking for the biggest and best iPhone screen around this should be your pick of the bunch.

Now over to the newest iPhone, the nostalgic revival of the SE.

Adopting the iPhone 8 Design the SE may like an older device but it comes with a lot of benefits over the rest of the range. The chief reason you may want to buy this is it’s the cheapest iPhone you can buy from Apple right now.

Internally it boasts an A13 Bionic chipset, that is the same we’ve seen powering the three previous phones we chatted about.

The camera is good on this phone, but won’t compete with the very top iPhones and unfortunately the SE has a pretty average battery life, matching the iPhone 8.

Overall, if high end specs don’t worry you and you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to the previous devices we’ve featured you’ll love the iPhone SE.

And finally we couldn’t leave you without chatting about the iPhone XR.

It’s a really great upgrade for the average consumer who doesn’t want to pay for the most expensive iPhone money can buy. This was Apple’s ‘cheap’ iPhone until the iPhone SE came along and it holds up pretty well.

The iPhone XR stands out in the crowd with a variety of colors including Blue, White, Black, Yellow, Coral, Red. This contrasts heavily with the rather muted colors of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Yet it shares the same internal specs: Apple’s A12 Bionic chipset and a 12MP dual-lens camera with a single lens on back.

If you’re tempted by the SE’s lower price tag but put off by its dated design, the iPhone XR could be the happy middle ground you find yourself landing on.
