Spyware changed my background and I can’t change it back!

Hi, my son was visiting and after he was on the computer now there is a different background for my desktop. I tried to change it to what it was a picture of my kids but it can’t be changed.

The things that AdWare companies will try never ceases to amaze me.

The first thing you’re going to need to do is make sure the spyware is gone from your system. Do a complete scan with a couple of updated spyware removal tools. After that’s done, run this.

If you want to do it manually, you’ll need to edit the registry. Click Start->run and type regedit then press OK.

Navigate to the following keys and either delete the DWORD values or change them to 1:
