Former PM Imran Khan gains 3 million followers and 40.7 million likes in 24 hours

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has gained significant popularity on the short-video platform TikTok. He currently has approximately 6.7 million followers, over 40.7 million likes, and 450 million views on his videos.

Imran Khan’s official TikTok account was created recently, and he gained nearly 3 million followers within the first 24 hours of joining the platform. With 6.7 million followers, he has surpassed other political leaders on TikTok. El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele has 6.6 million followers, and President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, has 4.4 million followers, placing them below Khan’s following.

French President Emmanuel Macron holds the fourth position with 3.9 million followers, followed by the President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, with 1.7 million followers. Other politicians with significant followings on TikTok include US Senator Bernie Sanders, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and US representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, all in the one million range.

Imran Khan’s consistent upload of content on TikTok has contributed to his rapid increase in followers, and it is anticipated that he will soon surpass the 10 million mark.
