Google Meet is enhancing the user experience by introducing 360-degree virtual backgrounds that will move along with the user by utilizing the phone’s gyroscope technology.

Users of Google Meet on their mobile devices can now enjoy a variety of impressive 360-degree virtual backgrounds that adjust as they move, creating a more engaging and lifelike environment.

Picture yourself in a meeting where the virtual background shifts as you walk around – a truly captivating experience, right?

In addition to its existing range of captivating meeting backgrounds, Google Meet will now offer a selection of unique 360-degree virtual backgrounds.

Despite the intriguing concept of virtual backgrounds, some users are concerned that this new feature might be distracting during virtual meetings and could potentially divert attention away from the discussion.

The available options for the 360-degree backgrounds currently include scenic locations like temples or beaches, which offer a stark contrast to typical office or work-from-home settings.

Aside from the introduction of 360-degree backgrounds, Google Meet has also introduced new emoji reactions, such as hearts, thumbs-up, party poppers, clapping hands, joy, astonishment, thinking face, crying face, and thumbs-down emoji.
