Although it is similar to the M3800, its sleek design and features make it quite impressive.
Design
The Dell Precision M2800 features some stylish cues. This portable workstation supports a MIL-STD_810G- tested chassis and sports an anodized aluminum lid which has a Dell logo in the middle of the laptop. The design supports a lock at the top to keep the notebook shut without any issues. Its black keyboard provides a sleek look and also enables its users to efficiently use the laptop for hours without pain in their wrists. There is a large vent on the left of the laptop, an optical drive on the right and two vertically striped stereo speakers at the front of the laptop.

The Dell Precision M2800 is equipped with a 2.8-GHz quad-core Intel Core i7-4810MQ and supports Microsoft Windows 7. With an impressive 8GB RAM that is upgradable to about 16GB and a 128GB hard drive, it definitely proves to be a beast. But the specs don’t just end here. The laptop also sports an AMD FirePro M4170 graphic card with a video memory of 2GB that boosts the overall performance of the laptop.
The M2800 sports a 15.6-inch HD anti-glare display screen that supports a 1920 x 1080 resolution which makes heavy images look clear and detailed. The stereo speakers offer topnotch sound quality and are perfect for listening to ambient music. The laptop is equipped with numerous USB ports, an HDMI port, VGA input and the HD webcam takes perfectly usable photos and videos.
Although the battery life of the workstation may seem unimpressive and won’t last a full day, all other features and the performance of the workstation definitely make it worth buying.
