Recently, WhatsApp announced its plans to introduce multi-device support to its platform. This significant update will eliminate the need for users to designate a primary device for logging into WhatsApp on another device.

In essence, tablets and iPads will soon have access to a dedicated WhatsApp application. This development was disclosed by WABetaInfo via a tweet, revealing that iPads and tablets could function as linked devices independently, without depending on a smartphone.

As of now, no specific release date has been provided for this feature, indicating that it is currently in the development stage. Nevertheless, users using the beta version of WhatsApp for iOS will seamlessly transition to the iPad version once the update is rolled out.
