TUXEDO Pulse 15 Launched Featuring High-End AMD Ryzen Processor

TUXEDO Computers, a renowned hardware manufacturer specializing in Linux-compatible laptops, has introduced a new addition to its lineup. The TUXEDO Pulse 15 is a Linux laptop powered by the AMD Ryzen mobile processor, joining its existing Intel-based offerings.

The Pulse 15 comes with significant enhancements, boasting an upgrade to the Ryzen 4000 series processor from the previous 3000 series.

Specifications of TUXEDO Pulse 15

The TUXEDO Pulse 15 is impressively slim, featuring a magnesium alloy chassis that is just 16.6 mm thick and weighs a mere 1.5kg. Despite its compact design, it offers exceptional battery life, capable of running for over 20 hours in idle mode at minimal display brightness, thanks to its large 91 Wh Lithium-Polymer battery.

Powering the Pulse 15 is either the high-performance AMD Ryzen 7 4800H or Ryzen 5 4600H mobile processor. The Ryzen 5 4600H is a hexa-core processor with 12 threads running at 3.0 GHz, while the Ryzen 7 4800H is an octa-core processor with 16 threads reaching speeds up to 4.3 GHz.

For display, the Pulse 15 features a 15.6-inch Full HD LED-backlit screen with an IPS panel, offering a resolution of 1920×1080, a viewing angle of 89°, and an approximate display opening angle of 145°.

In terms of memory, the base model comes with 8GB of RAM and 250GB of storage, but it can be configured with up to 64GB of dual-channel RAM and 2TB of storage.
