In Lahore, users have been facing difficulties with the ePay Punjab mobile app as they are unable to locate their payment codes due to a technical issue.

The malfunction in the app has affected payments for stamp duty, token tax, traffic fines, and vehicle registration. Users first encountered this problem earlier in the day when they were unable to access their payment codes. The Punjab Information Technology Board, which oversees the ePay Punjab App, acknowledged that the app’s malfunction was caused by a technical glitch from PITB. The ePay app is linked to the driving license system, and this glitch has prompted the traffic police to halt their driving license services until further notice.

It is uncertain whether the problem will be promptly resolved to allow users to resume their online payments and other services. This problem comes in the wake of a recent incident where a significant malfunction in Microsoft cloud computing services led to disruptions in operations for numerous companies worldwide. The incident impacted banking and communication services on a global scale, affecting operations for financial institutions, airports, and media outlets in countries like India, the US, and the UK.
