Nokia X2 – Nokia Goes Android Once Again

The competition between technological giants Nokia, Samsung and Apple has escalated to a whole new level. Nokia had tapped into the Android market with the introduction of its X and XL series. Now, they have once again made use of the operating system for the Nokia X2. To learn more about this phone, keep reading.

Design
The X2 is colorful and is encased in a unique translucent outer layer. You can choose from a variety of colors, including black, orange, green and yellow. The design is simplistic in nature and features a 4.3-inch screen.

Specifications
Considering the price tag of $135, it comes equipped with a wide array of options and features you can take advantage of. It not only houses a 1.2-GHz dual core processor but it also offers 1GB of RAM space. You will have 4GB of internal storage available. The phone also features an impressive 5-megapixel camera. A dual-sim version of the X2 will be released in the near future.

Performance
The phone is impressive in terms of battery life. It proves to be better than its predecessor thanks to its 1800 mAh power pack. But it does have the tendency to lag in comparison to other smartphones with similar specifications. It is a highly customized version of the Android platform and makes use of aspects from the Windows Phone OS. This can be somewhat confusing for users not familiar with either of the platforms.

You also have access to a wide range of various built-in apps like Outlook, Skype and One Drive. In addition, you will have access to Nokia’s own Android app shop which includes various third-party applications.

If you are looking for a phone that is handy in terms of personal and business use, there is no better option than the Nokia X2 considering its features and affordability. The price is the main attraction. If you are on a tight budget and need a smartphone that can get the job done, go for the Nokia X2 by all means.
