How to Make Money from Blogging

There are many good bloggers out there, blogging away daily to provide information to share with the world. From all of the bloggers out there, there are only a few percent that are great. These are the bloggers that get web users to interact with their articles, get thousands upon thousands of views on their articles and, due to this, earn quite a lot from their articles too. From this, it can be seen that to make money from blogging, you first need to be a great blogger. Therefore, here are a few ways you can progress your blogging career to make yourself become a great blogger so that you increase the revenue you make online.

#1 Make Your Articles Personal

To be honest, this applies to any market. Adding a personal touch to your blogging can have the potential to make it go from ‘good’ to ‘great’. This is because by adding a personal touch, you are connecting with the web user more and solidifying the fact that you are not a robot or just some text on a webpage – behind the text, there is a person on the other end of the internet line typing away to help the world out. As well as this, by being more personal, you can encourage the web user to develop a friendship with you from blogging. They will start to get to know you and then look for articles from you in future because they like you.

The way I can explain this is with car review videos. At the end of the day, ten different reviewers may have the same outcome. But, the video you will watch will most likely depend heavily on who the reviewer is and if you like them or not or find them entertaining.

#2 Stick to the Point

There is nothing worse than reading an article which goes off point from what the article is about. Yes, I know I did that just above with the whole car review example. However, I mentioned that to help get across the point I was making. By going off point, I mean completely off point.

For bloggers, this usually involves around internal link building. We all know linking articles to each other on the same website is good for SEO. For some bloggers, if they are struggling to find content to link to another article, they will go off a tangent to get the link in. This might be good for SEO. But, in terms of the readability and the satisfaction of the traffic reading your article, they will hate it. 1) Web users do not have much time to go ‘off on tangents’ online and 2) it will be quite noticeable when you go off on tangent on purpose! It will be like watching a football (soccer) player dive to get a foul! Everyone knows what he is doing and why he is diving too!
