As a child, Sarangkumar Radadia had a habit that many would consider odd—he didn’t play with his toys in the conventional way. Instead of simply enjoying them, he would tear them apart, fascinated by the wires, the gears, and the way everything fitted together.

Each broken toy was a puzzle, a chance to discover how things worked beneath the surface. That curiosity sparked a passion that would turn into a career not just in technology, but in shaping the way industries around the world use it.

Today, Sarangkumar is a driving force in AI, cybersecurity, and financial technology, developing solutions that help make our digital world more secure and efficient.

Discovering a Passion for Technology

In school, his interest in machines grew into something more focused. He spent hours solving problems with software, learning to code, and figuring out how to design better systems.

By 2004, when he started his Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) at Gujarat University, Sarangkumar knew exactly where he was headed. Every course and project fed his passion for understanding systems and creating solutions that made a difference.

The program gave him tools to translate his ideas into solutions. He focused on finding new ways to solve problems, and he used every opportunity during his studies to explore how technology could go beyond its traditional uses.

Starting Small but Thinking Big

His career began in 2003 at Applitech Solutions, where he worked as a Software Engineer Trainee. It was there that he got involved in a project with real-world consequences.

He helped develop the Integrated Blood Bank Management System, a tool designed to make blood collection and testing faster and more reliable. The system meant hospitals could rely on accurate data and save time during critical moments.

That role showed him how technology could directly impact lives, and it shaped how he approached his future projects.

After Applitech, he moved to Mastek Limited, where the scope of his work grew. Here, he took on major projects for Tata AIG and ANZ Banking Group. These weren’t small assignments or theoretical exercises. He created tools like a channel management system for Tata AIG, which streamlined how client data was handled and improved the company’s ability to provide services.

The work at Mastek wasn’t just about writing code. It required understanding complex systems, identifying gaps, and figuring out how to make everything run smoothly. Every challenge he faced added to his skills, preparing him for even bigger roles.

Stepping into Cloud Computing

When he joined 8K Miles Software Services in 2014, he started working on cloud technologies. One standout project during this time was creating New York City’s Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) Vendor Database. It focused on helping underrepresented business owners find opportunities and resources through better access to digital tools.

He didn’t treat this as a simple database project. He worked on it with the understanding that technology could bridge gaps in opportunity and make systems more equitable. This project highlighted how technology, when thoughtfully applied, can tackle larger societal challenges.

In his current role at S&P Global, his expertise in artificial intelligence has taken center stage. He leads projects that use AI to analyze financial markets and improve decision-making for professionals working in those industries. These tools aren’t built for the sake of innovation. They are designed to give users the ability to make quick, informed decisions based on complex, real-time data.

Breaking New Ground in Cybersecurity

Among his many achievements, his contributions to cybersecurity stand out. He created a Cyber Security Detecting and Alerting Device, which uses machine learning and real-time data to identify and respond to potential cyber threats. This invention reflects his ability to anticipate risks and create tools that protect users before harm occurs.

In addition to inventing devices, he shares his insights through research and publications. Topics like Differential Privacy Techniques and Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning show his dedication to ensuring that security and privacy remain priorities in a rapidly evolving digital world.

With every project, he emphasizes prevention. Whether he’s working on systems that detect threats or publishing methods to secure personal data, his approach always focuses on protecting people and their information.

Pushing the Boundaries of AI in Healthcare

While he works across industries, his interest in healthcare applications for AI drives some of his most ambitious ideas. He sees the power of AI to transform how doctors and hospitals approach patient care. The potential to diagnose diseases earlier, customize treatment plans, and improve accessibility excites him.

He talks about using AI to detect illnesses like cancer or heart disease at their earliest stages when they’re most treatable. For him, this kind of work isn’t just about advancing technology. It’s about addressing one of the biggest challenges in healthcare—making high-quality treatment available to everyone, no matter where they live or their financial circumstances.

This kind of vision shows how much he cares about practical results. He doesn’t focus on AI as an abstract concept. Instead, he looks at how it can directly save lives and make healthcare more effective.

Pioneering Change Through Innovation

Looking back, Sarangkumar Radadia’s career tells a story of creating real change through technology. He has built tools that improve blood bank management, developed AI systems to guide financial markets, and created innovations in cybersecurity that protect digital environments.

“My primary goal is to deepen my expertise in computer applications and emerging technologies, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI),” he says. Whether it’s safeguarding data or using AI to detect diseases early, his work consistently solves real-world problems in ways that matter.

His vision for the future is bold and clear. “In 10 years, I see myself at the intersection of technology and healthcare, leveraging AI to revolutionize the medical industry,” he shares. Sarangkumar aims to develop AI-driven solutions that assist doctors in early disease detection, optimize treatment plans, and make quality healthcare accessible and affordable for all.

What drives him isn’t recognition but the impact of his work. “I believe true happiness comes from bringing joy to others. When we uplift those around us, their smiles and gratitude reflect our own fulfillment,” he explains. This philosophy shapes how he approaches every project, blending technical expertise with a deep desire to create meaningful change.

Through his continued exploration of AI and cybersecurity, Sarangkumar’s contributions grow as a testament to curiosity, dedication, and innovation. As he puts it, “By combining my passion for technology with my desire to make a meaningful impact, I hope to leave a lasting legacy in the medical field.”
