Mozilla has just launched Firefox 129.0 Stable, along with Firefox 128.1 ESR and Firefox 115.14 ESR. Firefox 129 comes with notable changes like giving priority to HTTPS for non-local addresses, using system DNS settings on specific operating systems, and enhancing the Reader View feature.
All development versions of Firefox have also been updated, with Firefox 130 Beta and Firefox 131 Nightly now accessible.

Firefox 129.0 Download and Update
Firefox automatically updates itself, but you can also check for updates manually by going to Menu > Help > About Firefox. The browser will then search for and install any available updates. You can also download the latest version using the provided links.
Firefox 129.0 Changes
– Reader View Enhancements: Improved readability for articles, with fewer distractions and more customization options like text and layout choices, enhanced theme options, and the ability to select custom colors.
– Tab Previews: Visual previews of background tabs now appear when hovering over them, showing the title, domain, and a snapshot of the page to help identify tabs easily. Instructions to enable this feature are provided.
– Other Changes and Fixes: Prioritizing HTTPS for non-local sites, resolving HTTPS DNS records using the OS DNS resolver, added VoiceOver support for multiple languages on macOS, and made address autofill accessible for users in Germany and France.
Developer Updates
Various changes have been made, such as supporting the blocking of HTTP requests in the Network panel and updates to CSS properties and typed arrays.
Enterprise Changes
The DisableFirefoxStudies policy has been updated to correctly disable Nimbus, Firefox’s cross-platform experimentation tool.
Security Updates

Upcoming releases like Firefox 130, Firefox 128.2 ESR, and Firefox 115.15 ESR are slated for September 9th, 2024.
