Ubuntu is a popular choice for both newcomers and manufacturers who sell Linux laptops. Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu, has partnered with HP, Lenovo, and Dell to provide Linux laptops. The Dell XPS 13 Plus Developer Edition is the latest addition to Dell’s well-known range of Linux computers.
The XPS 13 Plus DE is the first laptop to come with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Long-Term Release), which was recently released. The original XPS 13 Plus was introduced in April this year at CES 2022 and has garnered a lot of attention due to its unique and futuristic design.
Oliver Smith, Product Manager for Ubuntu Desktop at Canonical, commented, “The XPS 13 is a well-established flagship series for Ubuntu on laptops. It’s great to see the XPS 13 Plus and Ubuntu 22.04 deliver a top-notch hardware and software experience for developers, a decade after the start of Project Sputnik.”
