The wire-loop game is commonly used as a hands-on educational project for students to learn about electronics. A version was created by [W&M Levsha], showcasing their craftsmanship and creativity and humorously named “Breathalyzer” to add a playful twist.
The game’s objective is straightforward: players must maneuver a metal ring through a challenging loop without making contact. A buzzer and light signal when a mistake is made, and the project runs on power from a small lithium-polymer battery that can be charged via a USB connection.
What makes this project stand out is the attention to detail in its construction. Instead of a basic wire design, [W&M Levsha] crafted an intricate rectangular-shaped beam from a single piece of metal. The accompanying wand features a beautifully textured handle.
This level of craftsmanship is consistent with their previous creations, such as a custom toothbrush and a unique powder-fueled lighter. Check out the video below for a closer look at their work.
