The Apple X or the Apple iPhone 10 is here! What a fantastic and mind boggling way to commemorate ten year of Apple’s ingenuity and innovation in the tech industry. With jaw-dropping features including face-recognition, it is safe to say that the iPhone X is Apple’s greatest creation so far.
Bezel-less Display
Apple has been focusing on designing a “bezel-less” display for quite some time. The idea behind a designing bezel-less smartphone is to reduce edges and let the user enjoy an all-screen experience immersing yourself in true HD quality.
Introducing OLED technology for the first time in any Apple smartphone, the iPhone X has a 5.8-inch screen with 2,436 x 1,125-pixel resolution (458 pixels per inch) with true color.
Exceptional camera
The camera is no doubt amazing, but the design and features is somewhat similar to another flagship Apple phone – the iPhone 8 Plus. The iPhone X features a wide-angle lens, 12-MP camera with f/1.8 aperture. But its telephoto 12 MP lens is designed to produce f/2.4 aperture as compared to f/2.8, which is what the iPhone 8 Plus has. The camera also has optical image stabilization similar to the 8 Plus. The feature will help you take more stable and motionless pictures when you zoom into your object.
Face ID – hallmark
The Face ID feature was making headlines since the day it was announced. It serves as a hallmark for the iPhone X. It could be troublesome as it has replaced Touch ID entirely. You are now only required to look at the phone and it unlocks.
Face ID is indeed an innovative and futuristic feature; however, it is not as reliable and quick as Touch ID. For example, it may fail to recognize your face at first then force to try again or enter a PIN code. The function does not stop here as even after face recognition, you still have to swipe up from the bottom to access the home screen – while it was supposed to take you there after face recognition.
Final Verdict
With an assortment of powerful features, there is no doubt the iPhone X will set a new benchmark when it comes to smartphone development. However, it is important to realize that the phone costs about a $1,000.
