I am using windows xp operating system. I can not download any software from the internet. I was told to change the setting to low. however when I make the change and click apply then ok. I power it down to see if it accepted this change it did not it went right back to high. THe message says not reccomened and changes it back not enabling me to download any software or drivers for my system. Also can not download any security paks for windows. It gives me an o error. i look that up and it says security error. How do I get the system to allow downloads or am I doomed?

You may also want to look into some of the excellent programs out there for updating both drivers and 3rd party applications.

Once again, nice post. Keep em coming.
