CD Deletions – Cannot delete files already burnt to CD

Name: Edwardo

On my cd window I can see I have 6 files on the cd. When I try to delete one I get ” you can not delete this file as it is a read only file -you can only replace it with another file”
How can I delete this file?

Unless it’s a CD-RW you cannot delete the file. CD-R’s can only be written to once, and once the data is there it’s pretty much there.

Now, if it’s an RW then you can wipe the disk and re-burn stuff to it. CD’s don’t really act like normal disks in that you can’t just manipulate the data on them very easily.

If you need something that has a bunch of storage data, then get a flash drive. You can just pop that sucker into a USB port, and treat it just like you would an old-school floppy. (A really fast, really high capacity floppy)
