Dell Inspiron 6000 Display Driver & Hibernation Issue
Name: Amber
Hi I had to reinstall xp on my dell inspiron 6000. Now I cannot find the driver for the display and don’t have the original driver disk. The specs(excuse the novice approach) are as follows:liquid crystal display [bezel]15.4wxga no spwg, quanta display inc.
Also computer nolonger has hybernate option do you know the driver to fix that?
Thanks,
Amber
You can download your display driver from here.
As for the hibernation issue, go to your display properties and click on the Screen Saver tab. Then click on the Power button. In that window go to the Hibernate tab, and click Enable Hibernation.

You’d have to get the driver CD directly from Dell, but rather than going that route (as it’ll take a while to be delivered) http://support.dell.com/ is a good place to start. You can find drivers for pretty much any recent-model Dell PC there.
“Drivers & Downloads” is one of the first and main options shown on the site. You can narrow down the search results by product type, model, and then finally operating system.
Here is the link to the Inspiron 6000 main driver page. (Works for me at least in both IE and Google’s Chrome browser)
