3 Tools Every Blogger Should Use

When it comes to blogging, since it is an industry which involves many people working self-employed, it can sometimes be difficult to maintain focus on what you need to do and on writing articles to be published. This is natural and sometimes gaining the motivation and the ‘light bulb’ ideas to good blog articles can be difficult to say the least. However, fear not my friend. From blogging for over seven years and engaging with other like-minded bloggers such as myself, here are some great tools to help you with your blogging life, to help keep yourself blogging efficiently.

#1 Apple or Google’s Notepad

You might think this is ridiculous and I’m having you on. But, what you will learn over time is that, depending on whether you are an Apple fan-boy/girl or an Android lover, the notepad that comes preinstalled with either type of smartphone will help you ten fold over in making yourself blog more efficiently. This is because some of the best blogging ideas don’t always come when you are at a laptop every Monday morning at 9am waiting for one to fly into your head!

Truth be told that the best ideas to blog about will come naturally to you and, sometimes, the most weird and inconvieniant times. What most rookie bloggers will do in situations where they come up with great blogging ideas is leave a ‘mental note’ in their head to hopefully remember so when they are sitting at their laptop at 9am Monday morning, they will remember that blogging idea.

But the problem is that everyone forgets things. For this reason, any time you get a good blogging idea, jot it down on your notepad app. From doing this, you will have, at least, several ideas to blog about every Monday morning that your audience will love reading about!

#2 Trello

For those that have never heard of Trello, it is a way for you to completely organise the whole of your website and blogging life online, quite literally. Trello can do anything from taking notes, adding tasks to be completed and lots lots more. But, what sets Trello apart is the fact that you can have this information shared with others so that everyone can add to it. For this reason, Trello truly comes into its own when you have multiple freelancers and bloggers blogging on one website.

#3 Buy a LaMetric

LaMetric is an alarm clock with a face of LED lights on the front of it. I am not saying that you should Image result for lametric google analyticsbuy one so you remember to wake up with its alarm clock feature! LaMetric is special in the sense that is has many apps preinstalled onto it that can display lots of different type of information, such as a live count from Google Analytics of the amount of visitors that have viewed your website.

If that isn’t the best motivation to help you blog efficiently from having that on your desk, I don’t know what is!
